Terms and Conditions

Services are provided by Sona Sood, founder of Joyful Healing. Joyful Healing offers Ayurvedic lifestyle consultations, dietary and herbal guidance, and educational programs. These services are rooted in the traditional wisdom of Ayurveda and are designed to support overall wellbeing as part of a complementary approach to health.

By booking or participating in any service, session, or program offered by Joyful Healing, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to the following Terms & Conditions.

Scope of Services

Joyful Healing offers:

  • Ayurvedic dietary and lifestyle advice

  • Herbal recommendations where appropriate

  • Group programs, education, and resources for health support

Joyful Healing does not offer:

  • Medical diagnosis or treatment

  • Pharmaceutical prescriptions

  • Emergency care or acute medical services

All services are provided as part of complementary medicine in Australia and are intended to support your existing care, not replace medical advice or treatment. It is your responsibility to consult with your primary healthcare provider before making changes to your medical treatment.

Responsibility & Participation

By choosing to work with Joyful Healing, you agree to the following:

  • You are responsible for informing your doctor if you are under medical care and wish to begin any Ayurvedic plan.

  • You agree to disclose any known allergies, intolerances, or sensitivities before taking herbs or making dietary changes.

  • If you experience any adverse effects, you agree to discontinue use immediately and seek medical attention as required.

  • You agree to actively participate in your personalised Ayurvedic plan and implement recommendations to the best of your ability.

  • If any part of the plan causes discomfort, you agree to stop and notify Joyful Healing so it can be adjusted.

  • You agree not to hold Joyful Healing or its practitioner responsible for any changes in your health status or any loss, injury, or condition arising from participation in services.

  • Your honest disclosure of any medical conditions is essential and will be treated with the utmost confidentiality.

The Consultation Process

Ayurvedic consultations at Joyful Healing follow a three-step process:

  • Assessment – a comprehensive review of your current health, lifestyle, and goals

  • Findings – explanation of your Ayurvedic profile and observed imbalances

  • Recommendations – personalised suggestions for food, routine, herbs, and self-care

Joyful Healing works in collaboration with you to develop a plan that feels realistic and aligned with your health goals.

Payment, Cancellation & Refunds

Payment:

  • Payment is required in full before services are delivered, unless otherwise agreed.

Refunds:

  • Due to the personalised nature of services, Joyful Healing does not offer refunds once a session, program, or digital product has commenced or been accessed.

  • If you have questions before purchasing, please reach out for clarity.

Cancellations & Rescheduling:

  • A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule appointments.

  • Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice may result in the session being forfeited.

  • Missed sessions without notice are considered no-shows and will not be refunded or rescheduled.

Late Arrival:

  • Sessions will end at the scheduled time regardless of arrival time. Extra time cannot be guaranteed.

Group Programs & Online Services

Group programs and online offerings are educational in nature and do not constitute individualised health advice unless explicitly stated.

  • Participation in a group program does not create a private consultation relationship unless separately arranged.

  • All participants are expected to respect confidentiality and conduct themselves appropriately in all group settings (online or in person).

Clients Outside Australia

Joyful Healing supports clients internationally through virtual services. Clients are responsible for ensuring that Ayurvedic consultations are appropriate and permitted under local laws in their country or region.

  • Joyful Healing complies with Australian law and makes no guarantee of compliance with other countries' health regulations.

  • Clients outside Australia agree to use services at their own discretion and risk.

Insurance:
Ayurvedic services offered by Joyful Healing are not covered by Medicare or private health insurance in Australia or other countries unless specifically confirmed by your provider.

Conduct & Boundaries

Joyful Healing maintains a safe, inclusive, and respectful environment.

  • Any disrespectful or inappropriate behaviour (in person or online) may result in immediate termination of services without refund.

  • You have the right to withdraw your participation at any time.

Acknowledgement

By participating in any service with Joyful Healing, you confirm that:

  • You have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.

  • You understand that Joyful Healing provides complementary health support, not medical care.

  • You accept full responsibility for your participation and health decisions.
